The DER-NSW Professional Learning site has 2 packages available for Head Teachers or people lading technology in their faculty area.

KLA specific resources
DER - NSW has developed a comprehensive range of support materials for all secondary subject areas.
TaLe has online resources/tutorials regarding the software.
The following site has support for ;
  • Software tools - Microsoft office 2007, Adobe Creative Suite and many other applications on the laptops across all KLA's
  • Interactive Classroom - Interactive classroom project, Interactive whiteboards, Video Conferencing and IT support for Interactive Classrooms
  • Social Media Tools - Web 2.0, blogs, wikis, online forums, digital media, Casting, RSS, social bookmarking, tips and tricks and research links.

Currently on this site there are modules for - Adobe Presenter, Microsoft One Note, Acrobat Pro, GeoGebra and Adobe Captivate.
Each module has Getting started tutorials, tips for teachers and uses in the classroom.

Suggests a range of sites for different KLA's in relation to syllabus content.

MACICT is a joint DET and Macquarie Uni initiative that have a VC series about the DER Laptops in Weeks 4 and 5. There is some great 45 min vc’s you may like to become involved with.
There is also other professional development opportunities available on this site and a wiki that supports laptops and web 2.0 tools. In the column to the left is the link to the wiki page for one note.

The Le@rning Federation (TLF) develops online learning materials for students in Years K -10 in a range of subject areas.
Centre for Learning Innovation
The Centre for Learning Innovation (CLI) creates learning resources for schools and TAFE with a focus on the strategic use of technology in education and training.
Sites2See draws on the expertise at the Centre for Learning Innovation (CLI) to give parents, teachers and students additional support in using selected resources or websites. The one-page guides can offer a brief overview of a feature of a particular resource, relating it to other CLI resources, or they provide a list of quality online resources in a given subject area. In each case syllabus and curriculum information are given as to how the resources might be used

A search engine for classroom resources and lessons.
Laptop Wraps
Are topic based resources for all KLA's that initially target stage 5 syllabus outcomes. Include online activities that exploit the laptop tools and utilise the new suite of Adobe, Microsoft and other educational software.
